Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • I certify that the text of this paper in any form has neither been sent elsewhere for publication nor it will be sent without our permission
  • I have submitted at least three key words of my paper.
  • I have submitted short running title of my paper
  • I confirm that all references included in the text are listed in the reference list and their links on internet.
  • Updated references are listed in reference list as well as in text & confirm their availability on the internet.
  • I have Indicated full name of corresponding author and co-author (s), address of author for correspondence, and Asterik on main/correspondence author (No abriviation).
  • I have submitted names, postal addresses and e-mail addresses of atleast four experts for review, out of which two are from outside Pakistan / country.
  • I Certify that the co-author (s) has / have been informed about submission of the paper to the journal. Also I have added their complete address, e-mail & phone numbers.
  • I have plagiarism report of this paper having similarity index upto 19%. (Please attach with this paper)
  • I certify that I (Author) have no confilct of interest. (Please submit if you have).
  • I will attached 2-5 sentences describing the novelty / new information to science reported in this paper.

Author Guidelines

Pakistan Journal of Scientific and Industrial Research, Series B: Biological Sciences publish original research as full research papers, short communications, and reviews. Articles submitted to other journals for publication are not accepted. All manuscripts are evaluated by subject experts from advanced countries. However, the authenticity of the contents remains the sole responsibility of the author/s. The Journal reserves the right to edit, wherever considered necessary.

Manuscripts should be submitted with a covering letter, giving unabbreviated names and addresses of all the authors, indicating the corresponding author, and certifying that the paper has neither been nor will be sent elsewhere for publication.

Author/s may submit electronic copies in MS Word/PDF, Excel, or Free Hand, via e-mail or web, and one legible double-spaced typed hard copy of the manuscript. The manuscript should contain, in order, the Running Title (not more than 60 characters), Title of the article, full names, addresses, telephone numbers, fax numbers, e-mail addresses of all the Authors, Abstract (not more than 150 words), three to six Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Acknowledgement (if applicable), References, Tables and Illustrations. All illustrations should be of good quality with legible captions. IUPAC rules for units and their abbreviations should be used.

References should be verifiable and cited in the text by the last name of the author (both authors if only two, the first author and et al when more than two) followed by the year, in descending chronological order. All references in the bibliography should be listed in alphabetical order of the author's� last names followed by date of publication and other complete details with full names of Journals as given below. Anonymous (Anon) references are not accepted.
