Abstract

The behaviour of Poly (butadiene)rubber used inlocaltyreindustry wasstudiedin acommon solventinthetemperature
range of288-348Kbyviscositytechnique.HugginsandKraemersequationswereusedtodeterminetheintrinsicviscosity
which showed increase with temperature. Thermodynamic parameters like llGv , llHv and llSv were determined
showing orientation anduncoiling of moleculesduring flow and systembecoming moreordered. Hydrodynamic volume
values are reported at different temperatures.
